Although this project was completed a few weeks ago, I just now had the time to take a few photos.  This was a fun project for Limbach Facility Services to highlight their educational experience.  Some of the items, like the notebook paper, I scanned and added to the piece, and others where from stock photo houses.  What makes this project really fun is the use of spot varnishes over the photos to give the appearance they are jumping off the page.  This came out much nicer than expected!  Thanks everyone along the way who helped with this project!

I just finished up my latest project this week. It’s a website for a company called Roman Packaging, based out of Sanford, Florida.  They specialize in custom packaging for your needs.  There’s an entire catalog on the site, and I highly recommend giving it a look through if you’re in the market for these products.  Also, be sure to check them out at the Surf Expo August 20-22 at the Orange County Convention Center.

Yesterday I got a chance to run out and photograph the newest addition to Valencia Community College’s West Campus – Building 11.  The building was designed by C.T. Hsu + Associates.  What makes the building especially interesting is it will be shared with the University of Central Florida and it will be a LEED Certified building.  With two weeks to go, they were still moving in the furniture and finishing some of the common spaces, but it looked really nice.  More photos to follow.

It’s back to work today after enjoying a week off in South Carolina with the family.  As usual, we stayed in a beach house at Litchfield beach, which is just south of Mrytle Beach.  The week is filled with the traditional beach activities which include: floating, surfing, reading, napping, drinking, fishing, etc. As always, one of my favorite trips of the year.

And now, after being refreshed, it’s time to get back to work.  It’s going to be a busy week this week.  I have a final this evening for Career Management, as well as a Finance Final next week.  I also have some projects I’ve completed that I’d like to post on here also.  So, be sure to check back in the near future.

Check out the photo from my backyard as the storms approached last night. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad at the house, but the news cut all the programming to track the storm as it moved across Central Florida.
