Weekend in the Outdoors

Little Econ River

For those living in Florida, I don’t have to repeat how beautiful the weekend was! And my condolences for those in the northeast buried under snow. This weekend Marisha and I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and went for a hike through the Little Big Econ State Forest. It’s a nice nature area located in Oviedo, Florida. There are several canoe launches for meandering down the river, as well as some trails for hiking along the banks. There is a bridge further out on the trail, but with a fading light we had to turn back to get home. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get out and get some exercise in the wilderness!

Spring is here!

Spring is here and it’s time for spring cleaning! Time to clean the spider webs out of the projects I’ve had sitting around and see if I can’t get them finished. If you’ve visited my website lately you would have noticed that I did a slight redesign of everything. And if you’re a reader of my blog you’ll notice I delved into the code and made it work with my website and incorporate the design. It’s about time!
