We’re Hitched

June 30th, 2008

It’s official, Marisha and I are now married. On June 27th, we tied the knot at the Wyndham Resort on International Drive in Orlando. The ceremony & reception went perfectly, and I can’t thank my vendors enough for all their help. The Wyndham’s catering department was extremely helpful in facilitating the event, Linda with Simply Soiree Weddings was our day-of coordinator, Rick of Horizon Entertainment was our DJ, Kamini Designs provided the flowers and Jason & Angie Frazier provided the photography. A big thanks to all of these people for making it such a wonderful event!

Planning a Wedding

June 18th, 2008

Here’s a great image of what it takes to plan a wedding. Here is my mother, fiance & step sister planning out how the ceremony will work using monopoly pieces. One more week to go and then we’ll be through with all this wedding stuff and onto the honeymoon!

In the Garden

Here’s another saved image from the old files.  I took this several years ago when I got a new 105mm Macro lens.  Enjoy.

So, I’ve been cleaning up some of my old files and getting rid of some images that will never be used.  But, here and there I come across a few gems, like this sunrise over Palm Beach.  I took this right before one of the hurricanes of 2004 as the sun crossed the horizon.

May 19th, 2008

For anyone who loves nature photography the name Ansel Adams is well known.  Actually, for anyone that loves national parks, especially Yosemite, the name Ansel Adams should be well known.  He was a master at photography and developing prints, and a very interesting individual to be around.  The NY Times website is featuring his photos with a quick voiceover describing the scene.  Well worth a visit.

American Satellite Website Launch

May 19th, 2008

 American Satellite, Inc. Website

Just finished the new website for American Satellite located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  Kevin Kelly has been a long time family friend, and I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to help him grow his brand and company over the years.  We’ve done several small projects together, and this website has been a continuation of his ongoing marketing efforts.  If anyone needs TV, Satellite, Home Audio or any other items be sure to check them out.

I’m starting this year off with a brand new look.  I’ve been working on re-focusing my services and in the process simplifying my identity.  Stay tuned for more updates.

Update: I just came across a fun new project called Business Cards of Bloggers, and I’m submitting mine to be added into the loop.   While I’m not a professional blogger by any sorts, I enjoy sharing different aspects of my life & business with everyone else.  If you get a change be sure check out the site, and maybe add your own card.

One Crazy Walk

May 4th, 2008

I had to post this video to my site, it’s one of the craziest walks I’ve ever seen.  I like to think of myself as fairly adventurous, but this would be too much!  Enjoy!

Energy Saving

April 24th, 2008

Earth Day 2008 has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean we should be cognizant of our footprint only one day a year.  With this in mind, I’d like to plead with everyone to please check the power settings on your computers and make sure they are running as efficiently as possible.

power_mac.jpgpower_windows.jpg

It’s an easy process to check, in Windows you can find the setting under the control panel and on the Mac you can find it under System Preferences.

The standard home/office setting in Windows should be more than sufficient for most users.

The Battle of Narcoosee Mill

March 30th, 2008

Marisha and I attended this Civil War re-enactment this weekend in Osceola County, Florida.  While not a real battle in the war, it’s a representation of how life was back in 1864 in Florida and to honor the confederate soldiers of the south.  We had a wonderful time, although it was quite hot, and we can’t wait to see it again next year - with a cooler by our side.  Click here for photos.
